History

Dennis lives with his mother, stepfather (his parents divorced when he was 9), and younger sister, Erin. He was born in Brooklyn, raised in NY, and moved to Florida at the age of 12 when his mother got a job in Miami. He wants to work in the entertainment industry because his father writes for a television show rooted out of NY, and his mother has been a newscaster for years. She's the co-anchor of the nightly news on one of the major networks in southern Florida.

Dennis has always auditioned for school plays, usually playing a comic relief role, but on the rare occasion obtaining a lead role. When he was little, he wanted to be a clown, so he learned how to do magic tricks, card tricks, and how to juggle. He also makes a mean balloon animal.

As Mr. Kelly is a writer, his creative genes were certainly passed down to his son. Dennis is an avid writer (mostly of comedic fiction, but he also writes poetry and various sorts of prose). He's pretty artistic, which makes up for his lack of athleticism, and is also a capable painter and artist.

Personality

Dennis is an upbeat, jolly, fun-loving kid. Though he may not be the most popular kid in school, he's the kind of person that everyone loves. As it goes, he's kind of a joker, and the class clown at times. He's not academically that talented, but he's pretty street smart. Dennis wants nothing more in life than to be an actor - though his heart lies in comedy (his ideal job would be performing on Saturday Night Live), he's a talented dramatic actor as well (though he believes in the saying that comedians make the best actors). His personal role model is Tom Hanks - he wants to have a career like his (start off in comedy, eventually segue into dramatic roles, winning Oscars, and then gain the ability to do romantic comedies or whatever big budget big salary movies he wants).
